Job summary

Kumon Asia & Oceania PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor and staff invoices. You will maintain records, process payments, and support cash management while ensuring compliance with GST and withholding tax rules.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, meticulous attention to detail, and collaboration across departments to resolve payment issues and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Degree isn’t mandatory, candidate with a diploma is acceptable.
• Min. diploma in Finance, Business Studies or Accounting.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Invoice processing: review and verify invoices and proposals for accuracy.
• Payment processing to vendor/staff via EFT, remittance, etc.
• Expense tracking with proper allocation and coding.
• Record keeping of all financial transactions.
• Payment reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations (GST, withholding tax).
• Cash management to maintain liquidity for obligations.
• Bank reconciliation with internal records.
• Collaborate with procurement and finance to address payment issues.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation.
