Job summary

SOIL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an accounts payable/cin specialist to manage the full set of accounts in Singapore.

You will handle AR, AP, GL, cashbook, and reporting, and assist with month-end activities from Benoi Crescent. Expect interaction with suppliers, customers, auditors, and tax agents, plus banking and treasury tasks. The ideal candidate has a diploma/degree in accounting, 2–3 years in AP, strong Excel skills, and a team-oriented, self-motivated mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting.
• 2–3 years' experience in accounts payable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Willing to work in Benoi Crescent.
• Immediate or short-notice start preferred.
• 5 days work week.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts: AR, AP, GL, cashbook and reporting.
• Follow up outstanding payments from customers and manage AR collection.
• Handle subcontractor payments (diesel & transport) incl. TR/cheque/TT.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing; pass journal vouchers and prep audit schedules.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents.
• Banking and treasury duties.

• Responsible for full set of accounts, ie: AR, AP, GL, Cashbook and reporting
• Follow up outstanding payment from customer & manage AR collection
• Handle subcontractor (diesel & transport) related matters, including payments (TR/cheque/TT)
• Assist in month end and year end closing activities, including pass Journal voucher and prepare audit schedule. Eg. Stock adjustment, payroll related schedule, prepayments and etc
• Liaising with external parties, ie: suppliers, customers, auditors, tax agents
• Banking and treasury
• Provide assistance to the Management for any issues raised
• Other related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least Diploma / Degree in Accounting
• Min 2-3 years' of relevant working experience in Accounts Payables
• Proficient in Microsoft Office in particular Excel
• Well-Organized, positive working attitude and a team player
• Self-starter and able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Applicants must be willing to work in Benoi Crescent
• Transportation pick-up services will be provided at Kranji, Choa Chu Kang and Joo Koon MRT
• Able to commence work immediately/short notice preferred
• 5 days work week.
