A consulting firm in Singapore seeks an experienced accounting professional to manage a portfolio of clients. Responsibilities include handling full accounts, supervising junior accountants, and providing financial management services. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. · Handle full set of accounts of a portfolio of clients individually or supported by assistants;
· Handle Month end closing for a portfolio of companies;
· Review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages;
· Handle/supervise a team of junior accountants/executives to handle day to day outsourced finance function, including AR, AP processing and payroll;
· Consolidation of simple to complex group accounts;
· Compilation of financial statements;
· Assist in providing financial management services;
· Solve complex accounting issues from time to time;
· Advising clients on matters relating to finance operation, accounting system, accounting treatment and reporting when necessary;
· Participate in automation project / opportunity to lead automation project for those with relevant experience; and
· Undertake ad-hoc assignment assigned from time to time.
· Minimum of 2 year’s relevant working experience
· Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or their equivalent;
· Have clear thinking, committed, meticulous, good time management, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently, effective verbal and written communication skill, honest and able to run with the ball;
· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; and
· Those with IT background/experience especially in modern automation tools are highly desired.
