Job summary

GRD Builders PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled Finance Lead to manage monthly closings, prepare and review monthly management reports, and oversee balance sheet activities with the finance team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA; professional qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the construction industry.
• Experience managing a team of accounts staff.
• Proficient in Xero and related financial software.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial closings and preparation/review of monthly management reports.
• Prepare, review and follow balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare quarterly statements and year-end statutory reports; compute taxes.
• Assist in forecasts and budgeting processes.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance.
• Support ad hoc projects as directed by Finance Manager/FC.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the monthly financial closing processes and preparation and review of monthly/periodic management reports
• Responsible for the preparation, review and follow of balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of quarterly statements / year-endstatutory reports and preparing of tax computation
• Assist in the preparation of forecasts andbudget
• Ensure proper internal controls are in place andbeing complied
• Assist with any other ad hoc projects asassigned by Finance Manager/Financial Controller

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Accountancy or ACCA or itsequivalent
• 5 years of relevant experience preferably in construction industryand experience with managing a team of accounts staff
• Experience in working in Xero integrated system environment
• Self-driven, highly energetic and committedindividual who can work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
• Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
