Job summary

A leading financial services firm in Singapore seeks an experienced finance professional to handle daily accounting operations and prepare financial reports. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, has at least 3 years of experience, and is familiar with Singapore's financial regulations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required, and applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in full sets of accounts, taxation, and consolidated reporting.
  • Familiar with Singapore financial regulations, tax, and audit requirements/standards.

Job description

Work Location: Tampines North Drive 3, #03-10, Singapore 528499
Reports To: Group Finance Director
Department: Finance

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle daily accounting operations, including payments, collections, and expense reimbursements; strengthen financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and consolidated financial statements.

  • Manage statutory filings and tax submissions, and liaise with auditors.

  • Analyze the company’s financial performance, costs, and profitability.

  • Properly maintain and safeguard accounting vouchers, ledgers/books, and related records.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal audit activities.

  • Coordinate with other departments on finance-related matters.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Finance Director.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • At least 3 years of experience in full sets of accounts, taxation, and consolidated reporting.

  • Familiar with Singapore financial regulations, tax, and audit requirements/standards.

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering/construction industries is preferred.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents only.
