Job summary

ONE SEVEN CONSULTING PTE. LTD. Singapore seeks an Account Representative to manage international customer accounts and support the field sales team. You will drive revenue growth across an established customer base, coordinating with logistics, finance and technical teams to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires 3–5 years in sales support and a solid background in ERP and CRM systems. Proactive outreach, accurate quotation handling, and strong negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inside sales, internal sales or sales support.
• Experience in a B2B hydraulics environment preferred.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in ERP (prefer SAP) and CRM systems, plus MS Office.

• Identify new sales opportunities and upsell within existing accounts.

Job description

We are partnering with a global industrial equipment manufacturer with a regional hub in Singapore in a search for an Account Representative to manage international customer accounts and support the field sales team, driving revenue growth across an established customer base.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for international customers, handling day-to-day communication by telephone and email.
• Prepare quotations for hydraulic components, systems and services, and follow them through to a commercial decision.
• Approach customers proactively to uncover new sales opportunities across the account base.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within established accounts and convert them into orders.
• Enter and process sales orders accurately, keeping customers informed of backlog status so that delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with customers, aligning delivery timelines against order requirements.
• Arrange credits, refunds, exchanges and the despatch of marketing material as required.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers throughout the enquiry, quotation and order cycle.
• Manage customer enquiries, complaints and after-sales support through to resolution.
• Record and maintain accurate customer information within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Work alongside the technical support, logistics and procurement, commercial and finance teams to resolve customer requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in an inside sales, internal sales or sales support role.
• Working knowledge and/or background in a business-to-business hydraulics environment is preferred.
• Commercial awareness with sound negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, ideally SAP, and CRM systems, along with Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in quotation and order handling.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks against competing deadlines.
• Organised, customer-focused and comfortable working as part of a cross-functional team.
