Job summary

MOOREAST ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage daily accounts payable, general ledger entries, and banking reconciliations in Singapore.

The role supports month-end closing, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in accounting/finance with at least two years of AP and bank reconciliation experience, strong accuracy, and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, particularly in Accounts Payable and bank reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting operations, including AP and general ledger transactions.
  • Process supplier invoices, payment requests, staff claims, and ensure proper supporting documents and approvals are obtained.
  • Perform daily bank transactions and bank reconciliations, ensuring all payments are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare payment vouchers, online banking payments, and monitor payment status.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensure proper filing of financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and follow up with suppliers on invoices and discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and schedules.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, auditors, and external parties on accounting matters.
  • Assist with audit, tax, and statutory requirements by providing relevant documents.
  • Ensure transactions comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by Finance Manager.

  • Ensure accounting transactions are properly recorded and comply with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting and finance duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or superior.
Job Requirement
