Position: Assistant Electrical Engineer (ES)

• Salary: $2,800 to $3,000 + AWS + VB
• Working Days: 5days 8:15am - 530pm
• Working Location: Joo Koon (Transport is provided from 6 MRT pickup points i.e.: Paya Lebar, Serangoon NEX, Bishan, Jurong East, Joo Koon, Woodlands)

• At least Diploma Electrical Power Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum one (1) year’s experience in an electrical engineering environment

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

• To attend to site survey/meetings/discussions with client/contractors/sub-contractors on related matters together with the LEW (when required). Providing feasible solutions and coordinate with owners/users, consultants, vendors/contractors on engineering functional requirements and ensure the objectives are achieved.
• Ability to prepare report and method statement whenever necessary. Perform all electrical works in adherence to EMA regulations and guidelines with the LEW supervision.
• Assisting the PE/LEW to carry out regular site inspections on LT and HT installations to ensure that all maintenance programmes are implemented effectively in strict compliance with instructions and guidelines.
• Standby and partnering with LEW in attending to emergency call‐up services at customer installations. Investigate and determine the root cause of the faults and report (where applicable).
• Able to interpret basic schematics and SLD diagrams. Required to take on a Specialist Equipment role, may be sent to receive specialised training and subsequently provide training to internal staff.
• Plan and execute corrective or preventive maintenance programme. Participate in and support Annual Shutdown exercises as and when required. Ensure proper housekeeping of spare parts, equipment and tools.
• Assist the LEW in test and commissioning of electrical system. Provide excellent service to meet client expectations. Ensure all works are carried out safely and/or in accordance with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis skill to perform in-depth analysis the testing data collected from the field and to summarize the findings of collected data.
• Good team player to work closely with the engineering team to understand the operation of various electrical equipment and systems.
• Willing to learn how to use various condition monitoring software, sensors, testing instruments.
• Participate in‑house training sessions or workshops to enhance the skills in data analysis.
• Collaborate with team members to share insights and knowledge.
• Able to understand high voltage electrical network.
• Microsoft Office in expert mode to prepare test reports and presentation material.
• Able to complete tasks assigned by team with minimum supervision.
• Other ad‑hoc works.
