Job summary

TALENTS@WORK PTE. LTD. seeks a Food & Beverage operative for a hands-on role across restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and events operations in a 5-star hotel setting. Orchard Area location with shift-based hours up to 2am, including weekends and public holidays, with transport reimbursement.

Responsibilities include guest service, coordinating with kitchen/bar, billing via POS, and maintaining outlet standards. Prior F&B exposure and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations.
• Experience in a hotel, luxury, lifestyle, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of food service, beverages, and dining operations.
• Comfortable using POS or electronic ordering systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and good teamwork skills.
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional and personalised service to guests
• Take ownership of assigned service sections and support smooth daily operations
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
• Support restaurant, bar, banquets, and in-room dining operations
• Manage billing and payment transactions accurately using POS systems
• Maintain service readiness, cleanliness, and outlet presentation
• Provide menu and beverage recommendations to guests
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
• Support junior team members and contribute to a positive team environment
• Adhere to hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards
