Job summary

HR Focus is seeking an Assistant Manager in Singapore to lead a small team and handle 3PL/VMI accounts and bonded store operations. You’ll oversee order processing, inventory control, and customs compliance, coordinating billing and customer service.

The role requires hands-on operations experience, SAP/WMS proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• At least 5 years in 3PL, freight forwarding, bonded warehouse or ship chandlery operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory / team-leading experience.
• Experience handling Singapore Customs permits.
• Familiar with bonded store or licensed warehouse operations.
• Working knowledge of SAP and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of 3, including daily work planning and task allocation.
• Manage full order-to-delivery cycle for 3PL accounts and shipments.
• Coordinate shipments, receiving, packing, and export bookings.
• Handle goods receipt and inventory transactions in SAP and WMS.
• Oversee bonded and non-bonded stock operations and cycle counts.
• Ensure monthly customer billing is accurate and timely.
• Oversee Singapore Customs import/export and permits.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and maintain audit records.
