Job summary

MediaTek Singapore Pte Ltd is looking for a candidate to support physical design and tapeout of advanced SoCs. You will perform a range of activities including synthesis, floor planning, place and route, RC extraction, timing and power optimization, and QA verification to ensure successful tapeouts.

We emphasize hands-on learning with training provided; basic IC design knowledge is a plus, and no prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical design and development of various SoCs and tapeout.
• Execute synthesis, floor planning, place-and-route, RC extraction, timing and power optimization, physical verification, and PI signoff.
• Benchmark performance, power, and area to validate the design flow.
• Develop design flows using Perl, TCL, Python, and related scripts.
