Job summary

Private Advertiser invites applications for a contract role in Singapore to support school operations, facilities checks, and event logistics.

The position runs from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027 with hours: Mon–Thu 7:00am–4:00pm (30-min lunch), Fri 7:00am–3:30pm (30-min lunch); no work on weekends or gazetted holidays. Training will be provided to new hires.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand simple English for operational instructions and reporting faults.
• Ability to carry out facility checks, logistics support and traffic-warden duties safely.
• No prior experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with opening and closing classrooms and learning resource rooms.
• Check teaching and learning facilities, including toilets.
• Check equipment and fixtures, and report faults or unserviceable items.
• Accompany MOE term contractors, including pest-control staff, electricians and plumbers, for mosquito-breeding inspections and maintenance or repair work.
• Provide feedback on the quality of cleaning and maintenance work performed by contractors.
• Provide logistical support for school events and functions.
• Perform traffic-warden duties.

Job description

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
