Job summary

Sunnyhill Ace Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Facilities & Security Support role to work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure a safe, functional, and clean campus environment for students and staff.

Hours: Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (30-min lunch), Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (30-min lunch). Off on weekends and gazetted holidays. Training will be provided; English communication at a basic level is required.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• On-the-Job Training (OJT) provided.
• Ability to understand and speak simple English.
• Must be physically strong and healthy.
• Proximity of home to Ang Mo Kio is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Estate Security & Facility Audits: Open/close classrooms and resource spaces; daily inspections; log defects.
• Contractor Management & Quality Control: Escort MOE term contractors; assist pest control; monitor outsourced cleaning quality.
• Logistical & Grounds Operations: Set up venue spaces for events; manage daily school traffic warden duties.

Working Hours & Schedule

• Rest Days: Off on Saturdays, Sundays, and all gazetted public holidays.

Core Responsibilities

You will work closely with the school's Operations Manager to ensure a safe, functional, and clean campus environment for students and staff.

1. Estate Security & Facility Audits

• Room Access: Open and close classrooms and resource spaces daily.
• Routine Inspections: Check teaching facilities, learning rooms, and toilets daily.
• Defect Reporting: Identify and log broken fixtures or unserviceable equipment.

2. Contractor Management & Quality Control

• Escort Duties: Accompany MOE term contractors for maintenance works.
• Vector Control: Assist pest control during routine mosquito breeding checks.
• Cleanliness Monitoring: Provide active feedback on outsourced cleaning work quality.

3. Logistical & Grounds Operations

• Event Logistics: Set up venue spaces for institutional functions.
• Traffic Safety: Perform daily school traffic warden management duties.
