in Singapore invites applications for a Facilities Support Specialist to manage classroom access, inspect facilities, coordinate contractors, and assist event logistics for a safe, well-run learning environment. Responsibilities include opening/closing classrooms, inspecting facilities, reporting faults, supervising pest control and other inspections with contractors, evaluating contractor work, and providing logistics support during school events.

Responsibilities

• Open and close classrooms and learning resource rooms to ensure timely access and security
• Inspect teaching and learning facilities, including toilets, to maintain cleanliness and functionality
• Identify and report unserviceable equipment and fixtures to enable prompt repairs
• Accompany Ministry of Education term contractors during pest control, electrical, plumbing, and mosquito breeding inspections to ensure compliance and safety
• Evaluate and provide feedback on the quality of work performed by contract cleaners and maintenance personnel to uphold facility standards
• Assist with logistics support for school events and functions to facilitate smooth operations
• Perform traffic warden duties to manage safe and orderly traffic flow during school hours

Job Summary

Support the Operations Manager by managing classroom access, inspecting facilities, coordinating contractor activities, overseeing maintenance quality, assisting event logistics, and performing traffic warden duties to ensure a safe and efficient learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close classrooms and learning resource rooms to ensure timely access and security
• Inspect teaching and learning facilities, including toilets, to maintain cleanliness and functionality
• Identify and report unserviceable equipment and fixtures to enable prompt repairs

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027.

Working Hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Fridays: 7:00am to 3:30pm, inclusive of 0.5hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
