Job summary

ALBEDO DESIGN PTE. LTD. partners with Yio Chu Kang Secondary School to provide cleaning, logistics and facilities support under a fixed-term contract.

The role covers maintaining general cleanliness, assisting opening/closing, transporting and arranging furniture for events, and supporting safety and alarm systems. You will report faults promptly and collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth operations during the 2027 contract period.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in cleaning, logistics or simple administrative duties.
• Ability to work in a team and understand English operational instructions.
• Coordinate with staff and perform tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general cleanliness of the school environment and upkeep of facilities.
• Support routine operations, including opening and closing the school.
• Provide logistical support for events, including transporting and arranging furniture and equipment.
• Assist with school safety, security and alarm systems, including arming/disarming where required.

Job description

Name of Authority: Yio Chu Kang Secondary School

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.

Option period: A further one year, subject to exercise by the Authority.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Shifts rotate weekly.
• Mondays to Thursdays: 6:30am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 6:30pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
• Fridays: 6:30am to 3:30pm or 9:30am to 6:30pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate in English to understand operational instructions and coordinate with school staff, and to work in a team.
• At least three years of experience in cleaning, logistics or simple administrative duties.
• Ability to carry out cleaning, move and arrange furniture and equipment, and perform other assigned operational tasks safely.
• Coordination skills and the ability to work within tight timelines are an advantage.

Job Scopes:

1. Maintain general cleanliness of the school environment and upkeep of school facilities.
2. Support routine operations, including opening and closing the school.
3. Provide logistical support for routine and ad hoc events, including transporting and arranging furniture and equipment.
