Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for regional applications and users across APAC.
• Toubleshoot and resolve complex production issues with root cause analysis and workaround solutions.
• Manage incidents, problems, and service requests with timely escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate with regional/global teams for permanent fixes and maintenance.
• Support application releases, change management, and preventive monitoring.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity activities.
• Perform end-of-day/month batch support and regular maintenance tasks.
• Support IT security checks and post-patch validations.
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge base; promote knowledge sharing.

Position Overview

Seeking an Application Production Support Analyst (L2) to support Cash Management and Accounting systems across APAC. This role focuses on maintaining a stable production environment, resolving incidents, and supporting regional payment operations and system releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2 production support for regional applications and users across APAC
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, including root cause analysis and workaround solutions
• Manage and track incidents, problems, and service requests, ensuring timely escalation and resolution
• Coordinate with regional and global teams to deliver permanent fixes and maintenance activities
• Support application releases, change management, and preventive monitoring initiatives
• Participate in disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity activities
• Perform end-of-day/month batch support and regular maintenance activities
• Support IT security checks and post-patch validations
• Maintain operational documentation and knowledge base, while supporting knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in support processes and system stability

Technical Requirements

• Experience supporting Java/J2EE-based applications
• Familiarity with WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and related middleware platforms
• Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
• Experience with Unix/Linux/Windows environments and scripting
• Exposure to IBM MQ and Mainframe environments
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Knowledge of SharePoint and Confluence
• Database performance tuning and troubleshooting experience is advantageous
• Strong technical troubleshooting and debugging skills

• Experience in application production support within banking or financial services
• Strong technical background in web-based applications and payment systems support
• Experience supporting international payment systems in APAC is preferred
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to work independently with good escalation awareness
• Comfortable supporting weekend, holiday, or after-hours activities when required
