Job summary

D L RESOURCES PTE LTD is seeking a Production Support Specialist for a Bank sector role in Singapore. You will perform root cause analysis, manage incidents, and support deployments across SIT/UAT/Production, including after-hours remote work with on-site possible for outages.

Requirements: Bachelor's in CS or related field, 3+ years in production support, knowledge of payments domain and ITIL incident/problem management, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of production support experience across multiple technologies/platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on application defects and provide remediation solutions.
• Prioritize defects and plan for production releases based on defect criticality.
• Perform code development, support end-to-end testing in SIT, UAT and deployment to Production environments.
• Proactively identify areas to improve system resiliency and performance to scale to volumes.
• Maintain production stability by ensuring deployments have risk and impact assessments.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding issues or queries.
• Assist production level 2 support with incident investigations and recovery feasibility; after-hours/weekend support as needed.
• Comply with SDM guidelines, processes, and IT policies.
• Share production defect learnings to improve quality and reduce future defects.
• Ensure production release documentation is properly updated.

Job description

Client: Bank Sector Based In Singapore
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with 24/7 rotational after-hours support on a remote basis. On-site attendance may be required for critical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on application defects and provide solution for remediation.
• Prioritize defects and plan for production release based on defect criticality
• Perform code development, support end-to-end testing in SIT, UAT and deployment to Production environments during green-zone.
• Proactively looking at areas of improvement to improve system resiliency and performance to scale to volumes
• Maintain production stability by ensuring deployments have completed the necessary risk and impact assessments.
• Communicate in a clear, concise, and timely manner to stakeholders with respect to application related issues or queries.
• Assist production level 2 support with incident investigations, root cause analysis and feasibility of recovery approach as and when required. This includes after office hours or weekend support on a need basis.
• Comply to established SDM guidelines, processes, and IT policies.
• Share production defect support learning outcomes with internal teams to improve quality and minimize future defects of application delivery
• Ensure application documentation is properly updated for each production release

Requirements: Education

• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 or more years' of production support experience across multiple technologies / platform

Essential

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong written, oral communication skills and able to manage stakeholders / user / vendor
• Ability to easily adopt to any technology / environment
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Preferably with knowledge in payments domain such as remittances (MT/MX/ISO20022 SWIFT message formats), cross-border payments and overseas local payments such as CNAPS, RENTAS, RTGS, Bahtnet, CITAD and BI-RTGS.
• Knowledge in ITIL areas of incident and problem management.

Key Domain/ Technical Skills

• Technically sound in AS400 platform & RPG/LE, CL/LE, COBOL400, SQL and Query400
• Experienced with ALDON and IBM RDi change management tools
• Experienced with BMC Control-M, Splunk and BMC Helix
