Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Procurement Officer for the electronics and mechanical industry in Bedok South, Singapore. The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating suppliers, and achieving best-value procurement while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will manage supplier performance, negotiate terms, and support continuous improvement in procurement processes. A Diploma/Degree in a related field and 2 years’ experience are required, with SAP/ERP fluency preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists meeting quality, cost, delivery, and reliability requirements.
• Identify promotions, rebates, and cost-saving opportunities to achieve procurement savings.
• Assess supplier capabilities and products to ensure compliance with specifications and delivery commitments.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and issue purchases within authority.
• Monitor forecasts, inventory, production schedules, and purchase orders to support operations.
• Track orders with suppliers and update internal stakeholders on status.
• Source alternative suppliers to prevent supply disruptions and ensure continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost, and flexibility (QDCF).
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and partners for long-term objectives.
• Liaise with customers on obsolete parts, last-time buys, and sourcing alternatives.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement and supply chain activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable aerospace/manufacturing standards.

Role:
Procurement Officer (electronics and mechanical industry)

• Location: Bedok South
• Working Days: Mon - Fri, 5 days
• Working Hours: 8.00 am to 5.30pm
• Salary: Basic $3000 to $4000+PB+AWS+Annual Increment

Job scope:

• Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists that meet the organization's requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
• Identify sales promotions, supplier rebates, and other cost-saving opportunities to achieve procurement savings.
• Assess supplier capabilities and products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and delivery commitments.
• Analyze supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and execute purchases within approved authority limits.
• Manage and monitor customer forecasts, inventory levels, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders to support operational requirements.
• Track and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate order status to internal stakeholders.
• Source alternative suppliers and stockists to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure key objectives relating to Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility (QDCF) are consistently achieved.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners to support long‑term business objectives.
• Liaise with customers regarding obsolete parts management, last‑time buys, and alternative sourcing solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable aerospace or manufacturing requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 2years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
