Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. in Bedok South seeks a Procurement Officer to source and manage suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will oversee forecasts, inventory, and orders while identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring compliance with quality standards. We require a Diploma/Degree in a relevant field with 2+ years of procurement experience in manufacturing, and knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing/electronics/electrical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace QM Systems and/or ISO 9001.
• Proficiency in SAP or ERP systems; strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Source, research and evaluate suppliers meeting quality, cost and delivery needs.
• Identify promotions, rebates and cost-saving opportunities to reduce spend.
• Assess supplier capabilities to meet technical specs, quality and delivery.
• Analyze quotations, negotiate pricing and delivery terms within authority.
• Monitor forecasts, inventory, schedules, requisitions and orders.
• Track purchase orders and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Source alternative suppliers to mitigate supply disruptions.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, cost and flexibility.
• Build relationships with suppliers and partners for long-term goals.
• Liaise on obsolete parts, last-time buys and alternative sourcing.
• Support continuous improvement within procurement and supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and aerospace/manufacturing requirements.

Procurement Officer

Industry: Electronics and mechanical industry
Location: Bedok South
Working Days: Mon - Fri, 5 days
Working Hours: 8.00 am to 5.30pm
Salary: Basic $3000 to $4000+PB+AWS+Annual Increment

Job scope:

• Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists that meet the organization's requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.


• Identify sales promotions, supplier rebates, and other cost-saving opportunities to achieve procurement savings.


• Assess supplier capabilities and products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and delivery commitments.


• Analyze supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and execute purchases within approved authority limits.


• Manage and monitor customer forecasts, inventory levels, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders to support operational requirements.


• Track and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate order status to internal stakeholders.


• Source alternative suppliers and stockists to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.


• Monitor supplier performance and ensure key objectives relating to Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility (QDCF) are consistently achieved.


• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners to support long-term business objectives.


• Liaise with customers regarding obsolete parts management, last-time buys, and alternative sourcing solutions.


• Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain activities.


• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable aerospace or manufacturing requirements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 2years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment


• Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001 requirements.


• Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems preferred.


• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
