Job summary

HelloFresh Sweden in Bjuv is seeking a Site Warehouse Manager to lead a team of Area Managers, ensuring safe, efficient shift operations and on-time, full delivery to production. The role focuses on maintaining safety, driving KPI performance, and fostering cross-functional collaboration within a busy distribution site.

The ideal candidate will optimise workflows, coach staff, implement process improvements and uphold quality standards while collaborating with Site Lead on strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring a clean and organised area, fully maintained equipment, and up-to-date employee training and management. Ensure the work area complies with global distribution centre standards.
• Lead a team of Area Managers during the shift to consistently achieve and exceed all shift KPIs through effective coaching, collaboration and performance management.
• Own the operational performance of your designated shift, ensuring a smooth workflow, optimising resource utilisation to meet production targets and fostering close collaboration across all departments.
• Analyse and implement changes to maintain consistently high levels of quality and productivity.
• Lead, guide, coach and manage your team throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Deputise for the Site Lead in their absence to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.
• Support the Site Lead in developing and implementing operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance the overall production process.
• Foster a positive working environment across the facility that promotes productivity, teamwork and employee engagement.
• Continuously improve and optimise operational processes by identifying and implementing strategies that enhance efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures for various processes, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Undertake problem-solving activities and elevate matters to the Site Lead when necessary.
• Ensure that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and sustainably maintained. Cooperate with HelloFresh on all health and safety matters and take responsibility for your own health, safety and welfare.
• Role-model the Company’s DNA and ensure that it is followed by the team.
• Undertake audits and follow through on actions relating to compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and other specified standards. Drive internationally leading site standards and remain accountable for GMP scores at site level.
• Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects.
• Champion key Company strategies and employee-engagement initiatives.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to support the growth and development of Shift Leads and cross-functional colleagues, including their leadership skills.
• Monitor and benchmark Area Managers’ performance against KPIs and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support their success.

Job description

As a Site Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the strategic direction, coordination and evaluation of your area of responsibility. You will ensure the effective running of delivery operations during the shift, leading a team of Area Managers while remaining accountable for on-time and in-full delivery to production, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the optimisation of operational efficiency.
