Job summary

HelloFresh in Sweden is seeking a production planner/leader to develop and implement production plans that maximize resource use and meet specifications, cost and quality targets. You will lead a small planning team and work with the Site Lead to optimize efficiency and budgeting while ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, resource estimation, and data-driven adjustments to meet production needs and timelines.

Job description

Develop and implement production plans to maximize the use of the organization’s resources and meet established production specifications and schedules; volume, cost, and wastage targets; and quality standards.

Key Activities (Tasks and Responsibilities)

• Use manufacturing plans, contracts, and production specifications to produce schedules and production plans and estimate the human resources, tools, and equipment needed to manufacture products.
• Lead your team across the employee life cycle, guide, coach and manage.
• Deputise for the Site Lead in their absence to ensure the smooth operations of the facility.
• Support the Site Lead to develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall production process.
• Support the site lead to develop and implement yearly budget plans.
• Foster a positive work environment across the facility that promotes productivity, teamwork, and employee engagement.
• Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team.
• Monitor production activity and analyze production data so that the flow of materials is timed to meet production requirements.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages.
• Prepare work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules.
• Evaluate production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes and calculate machine and operator loads.
• Lead and manage a team of three: two Planning Specialists and one Junior Planner.
