Job summary

Sandvik is seeking a Solution Architect to serve as the trusted technical authority for Risk & Resilience within the ServiceNow platform. You will shape the technical direction of the domain, align solutions with architectural standards, and ensure long-term business objectives are met.

You will operate within the Platform Architecture & Governance team, translating validated business needs into scalable, secure solutions while safeguarding platform integrity and guiding engineers and partners.

Qualifications

Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale solutions within ServiceNow or similar platforms.
Strong knowledge of Risk, Security or Resilience-related ServiceNow capabilities.
Proven track record of platform transformation and reducing technical debt.

Responsibilities

Define target architectures and architectural roadmap for your domain.
Influence platform standards and architectural principles.
Make strategic technology decisions balancing capability, maintainability and cost.
Champion an OOTB-first mindset and challenge unnecessary customization.
Lead platform health, upgrade readiness and technical debt initiatives.
Guide engineers and implementation partners with architectural leadership.
Help balance security, compliance, business value and platform maintainability.
Play a key role in preparing the platform for future innovations, including AI-driven capabilities and automation.
