Job summary

Black Duck Software in the Nordics region seeks a customer-focused Senior Sales Engineer to join our EMEA Sales Engineering team, partnering with Account Executives to drive new logo acquisition and expansion.

You will deliver product demos, lead discovery, and align security outcomes with business goals, collaborating with security and development stakeholders to accelerate adoption of SAST, SCA, DAST, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or related pre-sales roles in security
• Proven success in new logo acquisition and account expansion with quota-bearing teams
• Strong understanding of application security concepts and secure software development

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical sales strategies to drive new logo acquisition and customer growth
• Lead technical discovery sessions to identify security requirements and business objectives
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements
• Position Black Duck's application security portfolio (SAST, SCA, DAST, AI-enabled) to customers
• Design tailored security solutions aligned with customer objectives and risk posture
• Engage with technical teams, security leaders, and executives to build consensus and accelerate decisions
• Collaborate with Sales to differentiate Black Duck in competitive opportunities
• Contribute to account planning and growth by identifying expansion opportunities
• Support validation, proof-of-value, and integration discussions across DevSecOps and AI-enabled environments
• Act as a trusted advisor through the customer journey
