Job summary

Thor is seeking an experienced Senior Document Controller to support large-scale data centre projects in Sweden. You will manage project information, technical documentation, submittals, RFIs, and handover packages across design, construction, commissioning and turnover.

Close collaboration with project managers, design and construction teams, subcontractors, and clients is essential to ensure compliant, accessible documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of document control experience within construction, infrastructure, energy, or mission-critical projects.
• Experience managing high-volume technical documentation and controlled workflow processes.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, document governance, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead document control activities across one or more data centre projects.
• Maintain document control procedures, workflows, and governance standards.
• Manage project documentation from design through handover and commissioning.
• Control document numbering, metadata, revision management, and naming conventions.
• Maintain accurate document registers and ensure full traceability.
• Coordinate reviews between consultants, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project teams.
• Produce regular reports on document status, overdue actions, and project KPIs.
