EXPTNERS in Sweden seeks a senior Contract & Procurement Manager to lead the commercial engine behind major Nordic industrial projects. You will build a network among owners and EPCs, qualify suppliers, and turn invitations into competitive proposals.

Take ownership of private-client pipelines, negotiate framework agreements (FIDIC/NEC) and drive value through expert risk, price and term management in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive 20+ years in contracts, procurement or business development in industrial sectors.
• Experience negotiating liability, payment, insurance and change terms on complex projects.
• Established network among Nordic owners, EPCs and installation and civil contractors.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a target list of industrial owners, EPC contractors and MEP and civil contractors
• Secure approved-supplier status: prequalification, supplier portals, HSE, quality and compliance questionnaires
• Turn invitations to quote into clear, competitive proposals with the right scope, team and price
• Lead negotiation of consultancy, subcontract and framework agreements (ABK 09, AB 04, ABT 06, FIDIC, NEC)
• Build a network of qualified partners for electrical, HVAC, ITS and civil packages, with back-to-back terms
• Own the private-client pipeline and report it to the leadership team

Lead the commercial engine behind major Nordic industrial projects. Our client is a growing project-delivery company working on some of the largest industrial programmes in the Nordics – green steel, carbon capture, data centres, energy and advanced manufacturing. They deliver project controls, construction management, QA/QC, commissioning and managed technical packages. Most of their growth comes from private clients whose work is never publicly tendered.

About the Role

They are now looking for a senior Contract & Procurement Manager to find, qualify and close that work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial engine behind major Nordic industrial projects.
• Build and run a target list of industrial owners, EPC contractors and MEP and civil contractors
• Secure approved-supplier status: prequalification, supplier portals, HSE, quality and compliance questionnaires
• Turn invitations to quote into clear, competitive proposals with the right scope, team and price
• Lead negotiation of consultancy, subcontract and framework agreements (ABK 09, AB 04, ABT 06, FIDIC, NEC)
• Build a network of qualified partners for electrical, HVAC, ITS and civil packages, with back-to-back terms
• Own the private-client pipeline and report it to the leadership team

Qualifications

• Over 20+ years in contracts, procurement or business development in industrial construction, energy, process or infrastructure

Required Skills

• A long track record of winning private work through supplier qualification and contractor invitations
• Senior-level negotiation of liability, payment, retention, insurance and change terms on complex projects
• An established network among Nordic owners, EPCs and installation and civil contractors
• Fluent English and professional Swedish (another Nordic language is a plus)
• Strong commercial judgement – you know when to walk away from a deal

Preferred Skills

• Experience in green steel, carbon capture, data centres or pharma
• Pricing of managed MEP or technical packages
• Knowledge of LOU/LUF and Nordic supply chains
