Job summary

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Engineer to join a well-established 50+m sailing yacht from approximately November.

This is a rotational position working a 10-week-on/10-week-off schedule. The successful candidate will join an established engineering rotation partner and they also run with a deck engineer.

This is a a dual-season Mediterranean and Caribbean programme and is used predominantly by the owner and his family, with occasional charter.

They have undergone a winter refit and is preparing for the upcoming Caribbean season.

Requirements:

• Minimum Y3 qualification
• Previous Chief Engineer experience on a similar-sized yacht
• Sailing-yacht experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical, maintenance and fault-finding skills
