Job summary

Frey Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Second Engineer/Deckhand to join a 50m yacht currently in winter refit. The role blends engineering and deck duties, requiring sailing-yacht experience and capable tender driving. The yacht operates between the Mediterranean and Caribbean and is used by the owner and family, with occasional charter.

The successful candidate will work across departments, be practical and adaptable, and share a cabin with the First Mate. Start: ASAP. Salary: DOE.

Qualifications

• MEOL qualification required.
• Previous yacht engineering experience required.
• Sailing-yacht experience essential.
• Confident tender-driving skills required.
• Comfortable assisting with deck operations and guest trips.
• Practical, adaptable and able to work across departments.
