Job summary

Frey Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Second Engineer/Deckhand to join a 50m yacht currently in winter refit. The role blends engineering and deck duties, requiring sailing-yacht experience and capable tender driving. The yacht operates between the Mediterranean and Caribbean and is used by the owner and family, with occasional charter.

The successful candidate will work across departments, be practical and adaptable, and share a cabin with the First Mate. Start: ASAP. Salary: DOE.

Job description

We are looking for a hands‑on Second Engineer/Deckhand to join a 50m SY.

The yacht operates between the Mediterranean and Caribbean and is used predominantly by the owner and his family, with occasional charter. The yacht has been in her scheduled winterrefit since November and will spend the winter season in the Caribbean.

This role is split between engineering and deck. Seeking a practical engineer who is also a capable sailor and confident tender driver would be the ideal fit.

• Confident tender-driving skills
• Comfortable assisting with deck operations and guest trips
