Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks an IT Operations & Cybersecurity Specialist based in Sweden. You will join a distributed tech team to ensure reliable IT operations and strengthen cybersecurity for organizations handling sensitive data.

This is a remote, hands-on role managing day-to-day IT administration, user support, and secure environments for multiple clients. You will use cloud productivity tools, endpoint management, and automation to keep systems secure and compliant.

Qualifications

• Two years of hands-on experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or similar roles.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, including security policies and permissions.
• Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate tasks.
• Strong written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Remote work readiness and ability to collaborate across time zones.
• Certifications like Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert / Endpoint Administrator or Google Workspace Administrator are advantageous.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, SOC 2 or similar cybersecurity frameworks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• IT Administration: manage user accounts, groups, permissions and licenses in cloud tools.
• Endpoint Management: onboard Windows/macOS devices into MDM platforms and configure devices.
• Technical Support: handle first-line support including password resets and access issues.
• IT Maintenance: weekly checks on patches, backups, security alerts, and system health.
• Documentation: create runbooks and SOPs to improve efficiency.
• Cybersecurity Projects: spend ~20% on security initiatives, CVE research and hardening scripts.
• Continuous Improvement: streamline IT workflows and security across distributed clients.
