Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Sweden is seeking an experienced IT/OT support specialist to provide on-site and remote assistance across factories, workshops and laboratories.

The role involves traveling up to 40% to ensure operational continuity, maintaining local systems outside Global IT coverage, and coordinating with external vendors. The position requires strong cybersecurity practices and the ability to collaborate across teams in English and Nordic languages.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on IT/OT support or infrastructure in industrial settings.
• Experience with manufacturing processes or OT environments (MES/LIMS) is a plus.
• Experience supporting end-user hardware, software, networking, and connectivity.
• Strong cybersecurity fundamentals, patching, and secure configuration.
• Proactive, solution-oriented with ability to work independently and across teams.
• Fluent in English and knowledge of one or more Nordic languages.
• ITIL4 certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT/OT support across factories, workshops, and labs.
• Travel up to 40% to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain and support locally managed systems and equipment outside Global IT coverage.
• Collaborate with vendors and stakeholders to document solutions and drive improvements.
