Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, Sweden, seeks a Regional IT/OT Specialist to support delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of IT/OT services across factory sites, workshops, and laboratories in Europe.

You will combine hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration to ensure reliable, secure operations, acting as a bridge between stakeholders, vendors, and Group IT. Willing to travel ~40% of time.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on IT/OT support, service delivery, or infra in industrial/manufacturing/lab environments.
• Experience with MES or LIMS is advantageous.
• Experience supporting end-user hardware, software, networking, and connectivity.
• Solid cybersecurity fundamentals, patching, and secure system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT/OT support for hardware, software, and connectivity across factories, workshops, and laboratories.
• Travel to regional sites as needed to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain and support locally managed systems outside global IT coverage.
• Coordinate IT/OT applications with external vendors.
• Support laboratory instruments and ensure reliable data transfer and integration with business systems.
