Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Sweden is seeking a Regional IT/OT Specialist to support the delivery, operation, and continuous improvement of IT/OT services across factory sites, workshops, and laboratories in Europe. You will combine hands-on technical skills with collaboration to ensure reliable and secure operations.

The position involves on-site and remote IT/OT support, travel around 40% of time, and close coordination with vendors while maintaining cybersecurity and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands-on IT/OT support experience in industrial, manufacturing, or laboratory settings.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, OT environments, or LIMS/MES is a plus.
• Experience supporting end-user hardware, software, networking, and connectivity.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and secure system configuration.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT/OT support across factories, workshops, and laboratories.
• Travel to regional sites as required to ensure operational continuity.
• Maintain and support locally managed systems outside Global IT coverage.
• Coordinate IT/OT applications with external vendors.
• Support laboratory instruments, ensuring connectivity and data integration with business systems.
• Implement cybersecurity measures including patching and incident response.
• Ensure services comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document solutions and drive continuous improvement.
