Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Platform Engineer in the Real-Time Communications team, based in Stockholm or Malmö. You will own the critical infrastructure that powers our global Voice, Video, and Verification products, building self-service platforms for our product engineering teams.

You will automate CI/CD with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps, manage Kubernetes-scale infrastructure, lead incident investigations, and guide development teams on building resilient, high-throughput services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Platform/DevOps/SRE or similar role.
• Deep expertise in building and scaling secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience at scale, service mesh, GitOps (Helm, Flux).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation (GitLab CI).
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication to enable other engineers.
• Corporate language is English; applications in English only.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable self-service platform for product teams.
• Own and automate CI/CD pipelines using IaC and GitOps.
• Manage and improve Kubernetes-based infrastructure, observability, and service mesh.
• Lead incident investigations and drive reliability and performance improvements.
• Advise development teams on building resilient, high-throughput services.
