Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Platform Engineer in the Real-Time Communications team, based in Stockholm or Malmö. You will own the critical infrastructure that powers our global Voice, Video, and Verification products, building self-service platforms for our product engineering teams.

You will automate CI/CD with Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps, manage Kubernetes-scale infrastructure, lead incident investigations, and guide development teams on building resilient, high-throughput services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Platform/DevOps/SRE or similar role.
• Deep expertise in building and scaling secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP).
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience at scale, service mesh, GitOps (Helm, Flux).
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD automation (GitLab CI).
• Collaborative mindset and strong communication to enable other engineers.
• Corporate language is English; applications in English only.

As a Platform Engineer on our Real-Time Communications team in Stockholm or Malmö, you'll take true ownership of the critical infrastructure that powers our global Voice, Video, and Verification products. Your mission is to build and automate the world-class internal platforms that empower our developers—your key stakeholders—to ship cutting-edge solutions with speed and confidence. By working with a modern tech stack at a global scale, your work is essential for accelerating innovation and ensuring the reliability of our core products.

• Design and build the scalable self-service platform that enables our product engineering teams.
• Own and automate CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps principles.

• Lead incident investigations and drive continuous improvements to system reliability and performance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Deep expertise in building and scaling secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
• Strong, hands-on experience with Kubernetes at scale, including service mesh and GitOps principles (using tools like Helm, Flux, etc.).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD automation (e.g., GitLab CI).
• A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills with a passion for enabling other engineers.

Salary

The annual base salary for the role is between 604440 SEK and 755550 SEK. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
