Job summary

Sinch is seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard our cloud and on‑prem environments within a global security team. You will conduct vulnerability assessments, monitor the attack surface, and help implement robust cloud hardening standards.

Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, you will deploy security tools, automate processes, and contribute to secure design practices. The role is hybrid in Sweden, with Kalmar as the preferred location, and options in Stockholm or Malmö.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or InfoSec.
• Hands-on security engineering experience.
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies.
• Certifications preferred: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments across products and systems.
• Monitor attack surfaces; implement mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to cloud hardening standards and security posture improvements.
• Evaluate and deploy security tools; propose improvements.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed security into pipelines.
• Design and implement automation for security processes.
• Participate in architectural reviews to embed security.
• Analyze emerging threats and share mitigation ideas.
