Job summary

H&M Group is seeking a Technical Engineer in Retail Payments, based in Stockholm, to drive payment initiatives across our global retail landscape. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage dependencies, and ensure secure, modular payment solutions are delivered across markets and vendors.

You will lead governance improvements, drive accountability, and facilitate decisions with clear reporting. This is a hybrid role based in Stockholm.

Qualifications

• Understanding of payment systems and POS environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and external partners.
• Ability to drive accountability and follow through on commitments.

Responsibilities

• Drive payment initiatives from idea to implementation across markets and teams.
• Coordinate stakeholders, risks, dependencies, and delivery plans.
• Support rollout of payment solutions across H&M's global retail landscape.
• Establish and improve governance, processes, and operational routines.
• Facilitate decision-making with clear communication and status reports.
• Challenge stakeholders and vendors when timelines or quality are at risk.
