Samtec, Inc. is seeking a results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to expand the customer base in the Malmö area. You will drive design-in discussions, lead product presentations, and manage projects from initial lead to mass production and beyond.

Role requires travel ~3 days per week, and a home-based office. Fluent English and Swedish or Danish are essential, with strong relationship-building and self-motivation.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Proven track record in technical sales in electronics.
• Experience with component sales and design-in processes.
• Willingness to travel ~3 days/week and drive within region.
• Fluent English plus Swedish or Danish.
• Strong relationship-building and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and customer base in the territory.
• Use technical expertise to conduct sales calls and drive technical discussions (design-in).
• Lead product presentations, webinars and attend trade shows.
• Manage projects from lead to mass production (and beyond).
• Liaise with OEM/ODM/EMS and distributors and cross-functional teams.
• Work autonomously to develop customer base and opportunities.
• Cooperate with support functions worldwide.
• Register and follow-up sales leads, projects, and visits.
• Work with CRM systems like Salesforce and report activities to management.
