Job summary

Samtec, Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to cover Southern Sweden and Denmark from a home-based office. You will grow sales, manage the design-in process, lead product presentations, and drive technical discussions with OEM/ODM/EMS customers.

Fluent English and Swedish or Danish are essential. A degree in electrical engineering or related field is required, and you will travel about three days per week while maintaining a strong customer network.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related technical field.
• Proven experience in tech-oriented sales roles.
• Background in component sales is a plus.
• Strong interest in technology and electronics.
• Fluent English; Swedish or Danish language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and customer base in the territory.
• Use technical expertise to conduct sales calls and drive design-in.
• Lead product presentations and attend trade shows.
• Manage projects from lead to mass production.
• Collaborate with OEM/ODM/EMS and internal teams.
• Work autonomously to develop opportunities and customers.
• Register and follow up sales leads and visits.
• Utilize CRM systems and report to management.
