Lecturer of Cellular Therapy
Background
This position is responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in the field of cellular therapy within a laboratory setting. The incumbent will play a crucial role in developing and delivering high-quality laboratory-based learning experiences that enhance student understanding of key concepts and practical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Instruction:
- Design, develop, and deliver laboratory-based teaching materials (e.g., manuals, protocols, demonstrations) for undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.
- Supervise and guide students during laboratory sessions, ensuring their safety and providing individual instruction and feedback.
- Assess student performance through practical examinations, assignments, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
- Laboratory Management:
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and resources, ensuring their proper functioning and safety.
- Order and maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents.
- Ensure the laboratory environment is clean, organized, and safe for students and staff.
- Develop and implement laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Research & Development:
- Conduct independent research in the field of Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field.
- Collaborate with other faculty members on research projects and publications.
- Guide and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students in research projects.
- Present research findings at conferences and publish research articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Supporting the core faculty members in the teaching of Master of Stem-cell and Regenerative Medicine (Cellular Therapy).
- Supporting the core faculty in preparing course descriptions, implementing various assessment methods, and preparing course specifications and reports as per the NCAAA norms.
- Contributing to scholarly research and publication activity related to the field.
- Undertaking a range of administrative tasks through various committees, university services, and social responsibilities.
- Ensuring that the courses are taught in accordance with the learning objectives.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- Masters in related field (Medical Laboratory Science) with a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Qualification from Western accredited universities will be preferred.
