The Job

• Review accounting transaction records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports and reconciliations, and perform management reporting and analysis for business operations.
• Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with business operations and provide analysis and reports to support their planning process.
• Assist in annual audits, including preparing audit schedules and reviewing audit reports.
• Maintain proper communication and handle inquiries from business operations and auditors.
• Other ad hoc assignments.

The Person

• Degree holder in accounting or related discipline.
• Student member of HKICPA or equivalent pursuing a professional accounting qualification is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience in performing financial and management reporting at the operational level.
• Experience in handling accounting for fixed assets and corporate functions is preferable but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using MS Excel, Office, and accounting software.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle systems is a plus.
• Good command of oral and written English and Chinese.
• Accurate with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Senior Accounting Officer position.
