Lenovo is seeking a Workstations Category Manager to develop and drive commercial strategy, optimize portfolio performance, and identify growth opportunities across our professional workstation business in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for managing the workstation category lifecycle, aligning product strategy with market opportunities, and enabling sales success through pricing, promotions, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the Lenovo Workstations portfolio, maximizing growth, profitability, and market share across Saudi Arabia.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the Workstations category, including market trends, customer needs, competitive positioning, and product roadmap.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify business opportunities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Create, own, and communicate quarterly business plans, including product portfolio recommendations, pricing strategy, promotional activities, and sales enablement initiatives.
- Manage category pricing, profitability, and promotional investments to optimize revenue and margin performance.
- Equip sales teams with category insights, competitive intelligence, value propositions, and tools to support customer engagement and win rates.
- Collaborate with channel, distribution, and marketing teams on sales-in and sales-out planning, inventory management, and demand generation activities.
- Monitor category performance through key business metrics and recommend corrective actions to ensure continuous improvement and target achievement.
- Support workstation product launches and go-to-market execution, ensuring alignment between local market needs and regional strategy.
Position Requirements
- 3+ years experience in the Workstation, PC, IT hardware, or technology industry in a product or category management role.
- Understanding of the Saudi Arabia IT market, commercial customer landscape, and channel ecosystem.
- Experience working with distributors, partners, and enterprise sales organizations and knowledge of enterprise technology solutions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.
- Professional fluency in English and Arabic.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in category management, product management, business planning, sales operations, or a related commercial role.
- Self‑motivated, result‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, matrix organization with willingness and ability to travel (approximately 30%).
