Detailed Job Description

As a Wireless Engineer at Knetco, you will take full technical ownership of wireless site integration, RF configuration, and hardware commissioning across telecommunications rollouts in KSA. Your day-to-day responsibilities include deploying baseband units (BBU), remote radio units (RRU), and active antenna units (AAU), executing eNodeB and gNodeB parameter configurations, and conducting rigorous acceptance testing. You will troubleshoot complex transmission and RF hardware bottlenecks, collaborate with field technicians and project managers, and maintain accurate technical documentation. Furthermore, you will ensure full compliance with operator standards, safety guidelines, and performance metrics while operating on-site in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, commission, integrate, and optimize Huawei wireless network equipment for 4G and 5G deployments.
• Deploy and provision Huawei baseband units (BBU), remote radio units (RRU), active antenna units (AAU), and eNodeB/gNodeB base stations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve wireless network issues, hardware alarms, and RF performance degradation.
• Conduct rigorous on-site testing, link verification, and system commissioning checks prior to network handover.

• Mandatory certification as a Huawei Certified Wireless Engineer (HCWE) or equivalent Huawei credentials (HCNA, HCNP, HCIE Wireless).
• Strong practical knowledge and configuration expertise in Huawei wireless hardware (BBU, RRU, AAU, eNodeB, gNodeB).
• Exceptional troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills in high-availability operational environments.
• Valid work visa or transferable Iqama in Saudi Arabia (KSA-based applicants only).
• Valid professional driving license for field travel across project sites.
