Job summary

Dar is seeking a Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join our infrastructure design team. The role focuses on hydraulic design, BIM-based utility modeling, and coordination across roads, structures, and landscape to support major infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree, Saudi citizenship, and 3–10 years of wet utilities experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Saudi National.
• 3–10 years of wet utilities design experience.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for potable water, wastewater, stormwater, Firefighting, and irrigation networks.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, design calculations, network sizing, optimization, and capacity assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate designs with roads, structures, grading, landscape, electrical, and utility disciplines.
• Support project delivery from planning through detailed design and construction phases.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically competent Wet Utilities Design Engineer to join our infrastructure design team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hydraulic design, analysis, BIM modeling, and multidisciplinary coordination of wet utility networks for major infrastructure, urban development, and transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for potable water, wastewater, stormwater, Firefighting, and irrigation networks.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, design calculations, network sizing, optimization, and capacity assessments.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate designs with roads, structures, grading, landscape, electrical, and utility disciplines.
• Support project delivery from planning through detailed design and construction phases.

Hydraulic Modeling Requirements

• Hands-on experience with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, and InfraWizard.
• Develop and calibrate hydraulic models and prepare technical reports.

BIM and Digital Engineering Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for 3D utility network modeling.
• Create BIM-compliant utility models and profiles.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks Manage.
• Coordinate utility models with roads, structures, bridges, culverts, and underground services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Saudi National.
• 3 to 10 years of wet utilities design experience.
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Excellent technical, communication, and coordination skills.
