Job summary

Duncan & Ross Consulting seeks a skilled Civil 3D Modeler for Wet Utilities to support major infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, focusing on stormwater, sewer, potable water, irrigation and drainage networks. You will develop, update and coordinate BIM models per BEP and standards.

Responsibilities include creating 3D models, layouts, sections, drawings, and clash-free coordination with roads, structures and dry utilities. Proficiency in Civil 3D, Navisworks and AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years BIM modeling experience for infrastructure projects.
  • Strong experience in wet utilities modeling including sewer, stormwater, drainage, water supply, and irrigation networks.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D is mandatory.
  • Experience with Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination workflows.
  • Good understanding of infrastructure standards and utility coordination practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or mega projects is preferred.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Extract quantities and support quantity take-offs from BIM models.
  • Maintain records of issued drawings, models, RFIs, and coordination reports.
  • Support construction and engineering teams with model updates and revisions.
  • Follow company QHSE policies and BIM/VDC standards.

About the job CIVIL 3D MODELER (WET UTILITES)

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil 3D Modeler – Wet Utilities to support major infrastructure and mega projects in Saudi Arabia, including road and utility developments. The candidate will be responsible for developing, updating, and coordinating BIM models related to wet utility networks such as stormwater, sewer, potable water, irrigation, and drainage systems in compliance with project BIM standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed 3D BIM models for wet utility systems using Civil 3D and related BIM software.
  • Prepare utility layouts, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed engineering drawings.
  • Create and maintain coordinated BIM models in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
  • Produce shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction documentation from BIM models.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including roads, structures, and dry utilities disciplines.
  • Perform clash detection and support model coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
  • Ensure models comply with project specifications, standards, and local authority requirements.
