Job description

Title: Welder II Welder II CWEP05 - Welder, Pipe Helper

KBR is looking for a welder II to be execute all welding jobs on all kind of material as well as material combination as per given drawing with quality and operates all machine of welding shop

Responsibilities
  • Lead and support to welder I, welder II, welder III to perform all types of welding jobs as per welding procedure given by supervisor.
  • Perform welding activity in field as well as in plant
  • Monitor ongoing jobs.
  • Assist in field investigation work to carry out the failure analysis of welding.
  • Log all detailed progress of field and produce to supervisor.
  • Select correct tools and conduct tools inspection
  • Ensure completion of jobs to quality specification and schedule.
  • Immediate communicate with supervisor for completion of Job.
  • Make sure for compliances of all safety procedure during welding job.
  • Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions
  • Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
  • Participate in Tool Box talk before commencing of any welding job.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma.
  • Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute, attesting to the individual’s qualifications and competency to perform the works.
