Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is hiring a Welder II to execute welding on various materials per drawings, in both field and plant settings. You will supervise and assist welders, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality standards are met across all tasks.

The role requires multiple years in Oil & Gas maintenance and recognized welding certifications. KBR emphasizes SHE compliance and teamwork while delivering solutions globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance is required (High School).
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance is required (Diploma).
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third-party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support welder I, II, III to perform all welding jobs as per WPS given by supervisor.
• Perform welding activity in field as well as in plant.
• Monitor ongoing jobs.
• Assist in field investigations to carry out welding failure analysis.
• Log all detailed progress of field and report to supervisor.
• Select and inspect tools and conduct tool inspections.
• Ensure completion of jobs to quality spec and schedule.
• Communicate with supervisor to confirm job completion.
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures during welding work.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Adhere to SHE procedures before and during welding work.
• Attend Tool Box Talk before commencing any welding job.

These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets. KBR is looking for a welder II to be execute all welding jobs on all kind of material as well as material combination as per given drawing with quality and operates all machine of welding shop.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support to welder I, welder II, welder III to perform all types of welding jobs as per welding procedure given by supervisor.
• Perform welding activity in field as well as in plant.
• Monitor ongoing jobs.
• Assist in field investigation work to carry out the failure analysis of welding.
• Log all detailed progress of field and produce to supervisor.
• Select correct tools and conduct tools inspection.
• Ensure completion of jobs to quality specification and schedule.
• Immediate communicate with supervisor for completion of Job.
• Make sure for compliances of all safety procedure during welding job.
• Encourage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions.
• Comply with all SHE procedures prior to commencement and during work.
• Participate in Tool Box talk before commencing of any welding job.

Qualifications
