Asmacs Contracting Est. in Dammam is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily inbound and outbound movements, maintain stock accuracy, and lead staff to meet KPIs.

You will coordinate with procurement, transport, and customer service to resolve delays, enforce safety standards, and drive continuous improvement using a Warehouse Management System for accurate inventory control and performance optimization.

Formación

• 2–5+ years of warehouse/logistics experience.
• 1–3+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, inspecting, sorting, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatching.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor attendance, brief shifts, train new staff, and evaluate performance.
• Maintain stock records, lead cycle counts and physical inventories, reconcile discrepancies with WMS.
• Enforce safety rules (OSHA/local equivalents), inspect aisles and equipment, ensure PPE/MHE use.

Core Job Purpose

To oversee daily inbound, outbound, and internal inventory movements, maintain strict stock accuracy, enforce safety and compliance standards, and lead warehouse personnel to meet operational performance goals, KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Oversee receiving, unpacking, inspecting, sorting, put-away, order picking, packing, and dispatching.

Team Leadership

• Staffing: Assign daily tasks and workloads, monitor attendance, conduct shift briefings, train new employees, and evaluate staff performance.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records, lead cycle counts and physical inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Safety

• Enforce workplace health and safety rules such as OSHA or local equivalents, perform routine aisle and equipment inspections, and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) like forklifts.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Communicate with procurement, transport, sales, and customer service teams to resolve shipping delays or stock issues.

Reporting Optimization

• Track performance metrics, error rates, output speed, on-time delivery, generate shift inventory reports, and implement continuous improvement processes.

Typical Qualifications & Requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration is often preferred. [1, 2, 3]

Experience

2 to 5+ years of warehouse/logistics experience, with 1 to 3+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role. [1, 2, 3]

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Familiarity with inventory tracking tools (RF scanners, barcode readers).
• General data analysis and spreadsheet (Excel) proficiency.
