Job Description: Logistics & Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose: Oversee all logistics operations and manage warehouses and inventory, ensuring efficient storage, receiving, issuing, transportation, and distribution processes—thereby maintaining continuity of operational activities and ensuring optimal use of resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise logistics operations and manage transportation and distribution movement.
• Manage warehouses and follow up on receiving, storage, and issuing operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of item and quantity records.
• Develop and implement periodic and annual inventory plans and address inventory discrepancies.
• Develop storage procedures and warehouse management policies.
• Follow up on purchase and supply requests and coordinate with suppliers.
• Supervise shipping and delivery operations and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Monitor transportation and warehousing costs and work to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare periodic reports related to inventory and logistics operations.
• Lead the work team, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within warehouses.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improve the level of logistics services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in logistics and warehouse management.
• Previous experience in managing teams and supervising operational processes.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong skills in planning, organizing, and inventory management.
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel.
