Job description

Job ID: 3164856 | Amazon Asia-Pacific Resources Private Limited (Singapore)

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Drive vendor operational excellence across end-to-end warehousing workflow.
  • Develop and optimize KPIs, mechanisms and dashboards to track warehousing performance.
  • Manage escalations promptly through Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) identification and effective communication.
  • Analyze operational data to improve service levels, efficiency, and process flows.
Tactical/Strategic Activities
  • Align business priorities with stakeholders and senior leaders to develop operational strategy and objectives.
  • Develop and drive cross-functional projects to improve supply chain efficiency and cost structure.
  • Design and implement scalable processes, tools and frameworks to create force multiplication.
  • Lead business reviews with vendors and stakeholders to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Establish warehouse processes and standards aligned with industry best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and explore new technologies to streamline operations.
  • Automate dashboards, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Mitigate operational risk and develop Business Continuity Planning (BCP) roadmap.
A Day in the Life

You’ll be a strategic problem-solver, leveraging data and automation to optimize how we deliver cloud hardware and infrastructure. Your day-to-day will be a blend of:

  • Strategic Planning: Analyze current processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost, and speed.
  • Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (internal & external) to implement best practices and innovative fulfillment solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Communication: Translate complex logistics data into actionable strategies.
About the Team

Supply Managers, Manufacturing, Hardware Engineering, Data Centers, Cloud Service Providers, and others will see your impact. You’ll spearhead the escalation process for critical cloud hardware and infrastructure shipments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company.
  • Experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction.
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners.
