Job summary

Lazard in Riyadh is seeking a Vice President to join our financial advisory team. You will manage public and private deals, interact with senior client executives, and supervise Associates and Analysts on cross-border M&A and ECM projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in investment banking from a Tier 1 bank, proven leadership, and exceptional client and presentation skills. Fluency in English and Arabic is required, with a Riyadh-based position in a demanding, collaborative

Lazard has been present in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2011. We focus on providing Financial Advisory services relating to complex cross-border M&A, financial restructurings, capital structure advisory, IPOs and the development of financing strategies.

We are seeking a VP to join the team.

We’ll trust you to:

• Manage public and private deals
• Interact with client senior executives
• Provide guidance to and supervise Associates and Analysts
• Support origination and business development efforts
• Review financial analyses and modeling
• Draft client presentations and marketing materials
• Play a key role in the day-to-day management of the overall team (across junior development, recruitment, etc.)

You’ll need to have:

• At least 6 years of Investment Banking experience and/or Corporate M&A/ECM from a Tier 1 bank or financial adviser
• Demonstrated leadership skills and a team player approach with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
• Top performance with comfort operating in a demanding environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and engagement
• Ability to support, manage, and empower junior bankers
• Strong client and presentation skills
• Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
• Fluency in English and Arabic
• Riyadh based
